Most hotels and guesthouses arrange boat trips, which include packed lunches, to the many offshore islands. Several companies offer diving and snorkeling; two of the most popular dive centers are EcoSea Dive and Scuba Nation.

Scuba Nation. This was Cambodia's first certified PADI dive center and is still probably the best around, taking trips out to good underwater sites. They offer all the courses, up to advanced levels, and have some fun options for children. Courses start at $35.
