Book NowAngkor Village Hotel Review
This oasis of wooden buildings, gardens, and pools filled with lotus blossoms lies a couple blocks from the river on a stone road in a green neighborhood. It's a warm and welcoming place, from the airy teak lobby to the tasteful rooms, all designed like a traditional Khmer village. Standard rooms are small, so it's best to pay a little extra for superior rooms, which are bigger and brighter and overlook the water and greenery. All rooms have Khmer handicrafts. The open-air restaurant, in the middle of a pond, serves French and Asian cuisine. The cultural show performed in the hotel's gorgeous theater, designed like a temple, is a must-see. A sister property, Angkor Village Resort, is farther from the city and quieter.
