Malis
Malis Review
The Phnom Penh elite frequent this upscale traditional Khmer restaurant with outdoor seating. The long menu features lots of fish and seafood, soups and curries, and meats. The prices are right and the place is open all day, starting at 6 am.

nomade, from Cambodia, Phnom Penh
This is one of the leading KHMER, not THAI, restaurants in town, but gets more and more worse because to much tourist-oriented. Kitchen was in the beginning very creative and well known for its Khmer dishes.
Price range is upscale: $$$
