Book NowRaffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor Review
Built in 1932, this grande dame was restored and reopened a decade ago after nearly being destroyed by occupying Khmer Rouge guerillas. The Grand now ranks among the region's finest, and most expensive, hotels. It combines French sensibilities and Cambodian art with Oriental carpets and wicker furniture; rooms are large and elegant, with balconies that overlook the extensive gardens and blue-tile pool. Horticulture is something taken seriously at the Raffles, which has nearly 15 acres of greenery with flowers, shrubs, and local trees.
