Victory Beach

Victory Beach Review

Victory Beach is named after the Vietnamese victory over the Khmer Rouge regime in 1979. The beach itself has a few hotels to offer, but the popular spot (for backpackers, especially) sits on a hill overlooking the beach. Known as Victory Hill, or Weather Station Hill, this area has grown from a small Khmer neighborhood 10 years ago to a bustling sprawl of guesthouses, cafés, pubs, and music dens, much like those in neighboring Thai islands.
