Fodor's Review

Victory Beach is named after the Vietnamese victory over the Khmer Rouge regime in 1979, it is separated from Hawaii beach by an outcrop ontop of which sits the actual victory monument. The beach itself has lots of hotels; it was a popular backpacker spot but now hosts a midrange crowd. Victory Hill, also known as Weather Station Hill, has grown from a small Khmer neighborhood 15 years ago to a bustling sprawl of guesthouses, cafés, pubs, and music dens, much like those

on neighboring Thai islands. Amenities: food and drink; massage. Best for: sunsets; family swimming; water sports.
