Getting Here & Around

From Phnom Penh there's daily bus service to Ban Lung (12+ hours; $10) on GST. The journey is much improved from a few years ago with the opening of the resurfaced road. There are no scheduled flights available, but charter companies do the trip regularly. Visit any travel agent for details. Share taxis are always an option, unattractive as that option may be. It's an arduous drive.

In Ban Lung you can hire a jeep (preferably with a driver-guide) or, if you're very adventurous, a motorcycle, to visit the fascinating destinations an hour or two away.
