This gem of a getaway is one of the better boutique accommodations around, with rooms grouped around a stone-and-palm-enclosed pool. Each room is a duplex, with bedroom and bathroom downstairs, and a sitting room upstairs. Just beside the hotel, the original B&B offers a slightly cheaper option, though with fewer amenities. Both properties emphasize that they are gay-friendly, though the clientele is mixed.

Salt water swimming pools, lovely staff very eager to help, and fabulous coffee! the icing on the cake was a very intelligent tuk tuk driver (Thon, 855 12384124- he can be booked independent of the Golden Banana) who allowed me to
use his phone to call home as we visited temples!! (I purchased a sim card)- and who was with me throughout my temple visits. The land mine museum was on the way to one of the sites by the way ..
