Kasbar, a wonderfully authentic rendition of pan-Gulf traditional style, is one of the major venues in Dubai on the after-hours cocktails and dancing circuit. However, it attracts late-20s and -30s singles and couples rather than the young crowd. The space ranges over three floors with a chill-out lounge, a main dance floor, and an upper interior terrace where you can relax on one of the plump sofas and watch as the dancers move to popular DJ music below. While lounging, order some cocktails and finger foods. Closed Sunday.
