This hotel, part of the Shangri-La group, is one of the few hotels in Dubai in the 4-star category. It's not too expansive in terms of size or range of facilities, but the accommodation is high quality with luxurious up-to-date design and beige marble dominating the public areas. The rooms are designed with Eastern-influences—earthy accents of chocolate and amber mingle in the drapes and soft furnishings and dark wood furniture adds to the warm feel. Some rooms look over the verdant interior courtyard. The hotel's public Wi-Fi is located in the restaurant.
