The least expensive lodging option in Jumeirah Beach, this holiday village of two-story whitewashed Andalucian-style buildings is an interesting contrast to the high-rise blocks and mega-resorts dominating the emirate. One of the first resort properties in Dubai, the hotel sits on a small sandy bay at the northern end of Jumeirah Beach. It's kept pace with developments in the hospitality industry, adding a small spa and some hip eateries and entertainment options, but room decor is dated and some resort frills (like Ethernet) have yet to be installed—making it more suitable for leisure travelers than for business visitors.
