Fodor's Review

A favorite with the Filipino expat community who come here to find a taste of home, this friendly café sells platefuls of Pinoy staples. Not one of the world's better known cuisines, Pinoy fare usually consists of a mixture of meat and noodles (or rice), and is less spicy than Thai or Indonesian food. If you're on a budget this is a good choice for an inexpensive, tasty meal. Try the pancit palabok, noodles smothered in fish sauce topped with boiled egg; guisado, beef stewed with tomatoes; or the local favorite tapa, stir-fried strips of marinated beef. No alcohol license.
