Rooiberg Winery

Rooiberg Winery Review

Capetonians in the know have long considered Rooiberg Winery, between Worcester and Robertson, one of the best value-for-money wineries in the area. The red muscadel is reputedly one of the best in the world, and the Shiraz, Pinotage, chardonnay, and port are all good buys. A cabernet sauvignon–merlot blend, the Roodewyn (red wine) 2007 vintage is a good buy. The Bodega de Vinho deli serves light lunches, making this a good place to stop for something to eat.
