Graham Beck Wines
Graham Beck Wines Review
The Robertson cellar of Graham Beck Wines, on the road between Worcester and Robertson, is the sibling to a cellar of the same name in Franschhoek. Graham Beck has further extended his empire by acquiring the prestigious Steenberg Estate in the Constantia Valley. This country cousin produces some very sophisticated wines, and winemaker Pieter Ferreira is known as Mr. Bubbles for his wonderful sparkling wines. The Rhona Muscadel 2004 (named after Graham Beck's wife), a New Age muscat that's fruity but not cloying, and the excellent brut rosé are two favorites, but the reds are not to be ignored. Try the Ridge Syrah 2005, which is garnering rave reviews, as is the 2005 Coffeestone Cabernet.
