Lightleys Holiday Houseboats Review

For a sense of freedom and adventure, rent one of these fully equipped houseboats and cruise the lagoon. The inside is compact, light, and bright, and outside there's an ever-changing vista of lagoon, forest, and mountain. This is self-catering at its very best. A four-berth boat costs R985 per day for two people and R1,895 for four; a six-berth boat costs about R2,695 per day. The longer you stay the cheaper it gets. If you don't require fancy cooking, you can arrange to pick up meals or picnic baskets from the base or have them delivered to you at a mooring of your choice. Or you can just hop on a jetty and take your pick of Knysna's restaurants.
