Rose of the Karoo on Route 62
Rose of the Karoo on Route 62 Review
If you're heading down the R62 toward Oudtshoorn and you get a little peckish, stop at Rose of the Karoo on Route 62. Options range from a light sandwich to a lamb- or ostrich-based Karoo specialty, and breakfast and tea are served here, too. And it's one of the few places in town where you can get really good coffee. Out back there's a lovely vine-covered patio, and a small deli section sells home-baked goods and local preserves. An added bonus in summer: it's air-conditioned.
