Fodor's Review

If you're one of those people who believe we were created with opposable thumbs for the sole purpose of gripping a golf club, you'll love Fancourt, a luxury resort in the shadow of the Outeniqua Mountains that resembles a country club with numerous leisure and business facilities. There are two accommodation offerings: Fancourt Hotel, made up of rooms in individual villas in the landscaped gardens; and a boutique hotel in the 150-year-old Manor House. There's an

excellent Kids Club with cold and heated pools, a cinema, and a lounge for teens. Golf widows are well cared for with an on-site luxury spa and a well-equipped gym and boutique. Of the four restaurants on the property, the most popular are Henry White's, which serves classic European cuisine, and the Italian eatery La Cantina.
