Fancourt Hotel and Country Club Estate Review

If you're one of those people who believe that we were created with opposable thumbs solely in order to hold a golf club, you'll love Fancourt. In the shadows of the Outeniqua Mountains, this luxury resort resembles a country club with numerous sports, leisure, and business facilities. Rooms, which were refurbished in 2008, are either in an old 1860 manor house or in villas nestled in landscaped gardens. Whereas the rooms in the manor house have a classical air, the newer rooms are sleek and modern, with cream walls and pale stone finishes. There's an excellent Kids Club, with cold and heated pools, a cinema, and a lounge for teens. Golf widows are well cared for with a luxury spa on the premises and a well-equipped gym and boutique. Of the five restaurants, Sansibar ($$–$$$), with its Africa-theme menu, is the most popular.
