Since 2007, owner Stephen Henning has been producing food that is free-range, organic, locally sourced, and seasonal, and chances are the garnishes on your plate will have been freshly picked from the organic herb garden outside. The result is tasty, imaginative, healthful fare that's served in generous portions, with vegetarians well catered for. The menu changes regularly and features homemade pastas, soups, sandwiches, and a range of salads served either roasted or raw. Meat eaters take heart: you have not been neglected. Venison frikkadells (meatballs) are served with a buttery potato mash and beetroot chutney, hearty steaks come with potato wedges, and slow-cooked lamb shanks are dished up with potato mash and roasted vegetables. You can also sample more than 10 craft beers, including two on tap. The setting is a charming, rustic wooden cottage where guests are encouraged to linger over their meal. Zucchini's is part of Timberlake Farm Stall, which has a number of artisan and organic shops, and a children's adventure playground.
