Fodor's Review

The Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre (formerly the De Wildt Cheetah Centre, it has been renamed after its founder) is respected for its conservation and breeding programs. It offers three-hour guided tours in vehicles (included in the price of admission); at an additional cost you can witness a cheetah run. A beautiful stone lodge has nine guest rooms if you would like to spend the night in the area. No children under six are permitted. Visits to the center must be booked in advance. The center is in an area of the Magaliesberg called De Wildt, near Harbeespoort, about a 90-minute drive from Johannesburg.
