This is one of the best Italian restaurants in Johannesburg. The owner and chef, Ciro, says the cuisine is "very much my own," which means you can find truly inventive dishes on his seasonally changing menu. The pasta is made on the premises. His most popular dishes are the duck and the variety of homemade pasta dishes, especially the seafood pasta. Be warned: Ciro will chat with complete strangers as if they've been friends for years. La Cucina di Ciro serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
