Fodor's Review:

Surrounded by a lush garden in the heart of the Magaliesberg, this lodge has rooms with beautiful antique furniture. It's a good place for a river ramble or a mountain hike. Even if you don't stay overnight, drive through for dinner or a light lunch. It's a beautiful drive, and the always-changing menu is prepared by a master chef, Zhan Steyn. Dinner (reservations essential) is a six-course set menu of French-influenced cuisine that changes daily.
