$-$$$$, French, Pretoria
Fodor's Review:
Noted for its classic and creative French cuisine, this restaurant is frequently ranked among the country's top 10. Belgian-French chef Daniel Leusch opened the restaurant in his former home. The menu is set, with a few choices for each course, and changes daily, depending on what's at the market. For starters he might serve calamari tubes stuffed with ratatouille or oysters and mussels in a curry cream sauce. For a main dish, there's a choice: perhaps between a rack of lamb with fresh vegetables and olives, line fish in champagne sauce, ostrich fillet with cranberry sauce, or veal in muscat sauce. Don't miss the fine selection of cheeses served after dinner.
