Fodor's Review:

Back o' the Moon is a modern interpretation of an iconic 1950s bar in Sophiatown, a suburb destroyed during apartheid by forced removals. Live entertainment every evening counters the clanging slot machines outside. It's closed Monday, and reservations are essential.
