This exclusive self-catering resort is a great getaway from noisy city life for a group of friends or a family. Spacious one- to five-bedroom Tuscan-style villas, many with breathtaking views of the sea or the bird-filled lagoons, are set among gardens and indigenous forest. At night it's lit by hundreds of twinkling lights. Stroll down paved walkways to the private beach or meander through the woods and you'll likely see small antelope and monkeys. Golf enthusiasts enjoy the championship course, which hosts major tournaments, and there's also a mashie (tiny) course. If DIY is not your style, opt for the on-site Mondazur Resort Estate Hotel.
