Hawaan Forest

Hawaan Forest Review

This 114-acre coastal forest grows on a dune that dates back 18,000 years and has 175 species of indigenous trees, fungi (during wet months), and various species of birds. Guided walks take two to three hours and are conducted on the first Saturday of every month (except in January or February), but if you call ahead you can be accommodated at another time. Be sure to wear closed-toe shoes.
