La Villa Belle Ombre Review

This B&B is in a converted Cape Victorian mansion that was built in 1870 on the edge of the city and within walking distance of Table Mountain. All five rooms have en suite bathrooms with either a bath or a shower and some rooms have wood-burning fireplaces. Public spaces are warm and comfortable with a communal TV in the lounge. Views from the wooden sash windows either look out to the pretty garden, where there's a table under the bougainvillea, or over the pepper or orange tree. Rooms are basic but clean. Although Room 5 is the smallest, it's on the sunny side of the house and has African furniture and a queen-size bed. You'll see the mountain as soon as you step outside.
