Protea Hotel Victoria Junction

Fodor's Review:

With a funky, art-deco-style decor, this hotel adjacent to the Waterfront and De Waterkant is popular with those looking for something different. Spacious high-ceilinged loft rooms have large double beds on an upper level; you have to be fairly nimble to climb in. Standard rooms have ordinary knee-level beds but are still quite chic. The Set, a trendy restaurant for business lunches, serves a great range of salads and innovative fare, and the bar always jumps at happy hour.
