Boulders Beach Lodge Review

Just a few steps from beautiful Boulders Beach—one of the best swimming beaches in Cape Town and penguin colony—this comfortable guesthouse is a winner. The understated rooms are decorated with elegant, black, wrought-iron furniture and snow-white linen, creating a restful, minimalist feel. The adjacent restaurant is excellent.

Boulder's Beach lodge was my favorite place out of the places we stayed while in South Africa. It is literally steps away from where the African penguins live and breed... and the views are spectacular. It is in close proximitry to the Nat'l park where Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope are... and also close enough to Simon's Town that you can walk in for an afternoon lunch. The food at the Lodge is consistently good, too. Highly recommended.
