This secluded resort is one of the best places on the peninsula for families, and is very popular for small conferences. Built on stilts, the self-catering thatch log cottages lie in an indigenous milk-wood forest overlooking a nature reserve and the white sands of Noordhoek Beach. Cottages have two or three bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens, and large balconies. The wood interiors are attractive and rustic, brightened by floral fabrics, cottage-style furniture, and fireplaces. Rooms are similarly decorated, and some have pretty Victorian bathrooms. There's a large grocery store 5 km (3 mi) away. Owner Judy Sole runs an outstanding establishment and is a character in her own right. Children's programs for all ages can be arranged on request.

We had our commitment ceremony here in Dec 07 and it was without doubt the most beautiful setting and accommodation. What a day!
