A Sunflower Stop

Fodor's Review:

If your vocabulary is peppered with expressions such as wicked, lethal, and cooool, then this cheerful backpackers' lodge is a good stopover. It's close to the Waterfront, and the friendly staff can help you with everything you need to know about Cape Town and the surrounding area. It's also a great place to meet other travelers. You can use the kitchen, braai area, and TV lounge. Rooms are small, clean, and functional, but that's okay—you aren't going to be spending much time in them.

  • Hotel Details: 15 rooms, 4 with bath; 3 dormitories
  • In-room: no phone, no TV.
  • In-hotel: bar, pool, laundry facilities, laundry service, parking (free), no kids under 6.
  • Credit Cards: No credit cards
