Here you can walk through aviaries housing 450 species of indigenous and exotic birds, including eagles, vultures, penguins, and flamingos. No cages separate you from most of the birds, so you can get some pretty good photographs; however, the big raptors are kept behind fences. The Verraux’s black eagle is impressive, so be sure to stop there; it's the second-largest eagle in Africa.

I do not even like birds and this place was surprisingly cool. The best part is going into the room with all of the spider monkeys. If you have some extra time in the Cape Area, I would definitely suggest it!
