Britannia Hotel Review
Set back about 100 meters (328 feet) from the beach in a residential neighborhood of pretty gardens and a backdrop of forested mountain, Britannia offers prices that reflect its lack of killer views. Big, comfortable, modern rooms with all the amenities and small terraces are mostly situated around a large swimming pool and pleasant garden filled with frangipani trees and hibiscus. The restaurant serves delicious and reasonably priced Creole food with a bit of an Asian bent (nonguests are welcome but should book by 6 pm), and the local staff are very friendly.
