By Air in Namibia

Namibia's main point of entry is Hosea Kutako International Airport, near Windhoek. The smaller Eros Airport handles local flights and charters. Once in the country you can make use of scheduled flights or charter flights that service all domestic destinations. Walvis Bay is the nearest airport for Namib Naukluft and the Skeleton Coast and has daily flights from Windhoek.

The national carrier is Air Namibia, which operates international flights between Windhoek and London, Frankfurt, Johannesburg, and Cape Town, and internal flights to most of Namibia's major tourist destinations. South African Airways (SAA) operates links to Johannesburg and Cape Town. Air Botswana links Maun with Windhoek, and SA Express Airways flies between Johannesburg and Walvis Bay.

All camps in Etosha National Park have their own landing strip. Have your tour operator arrange charters or fly-in safaris for you. Air Namibia flies directly to Mokuti on the regularly scheduled flight between Windhoek and Victoria Falls. Chartered flights and fly-in safaris also use the Ongava airstrip.
