This lovely campsite is 12 km (7½ mi) from the Naukluft entrance, 10 km (6 mi) south of Büllsport, in the section of the park created to protect the Hartmann's mountain zebra. The 10 shady campsites ringed by mountains are strictly for camping, and each one comes with its own braai (BBQ) area and faucet; a few have concrete picnic tables. There's an ablution block, and a small kiosk where you can purchase a limited selection of cool drinks and beers, but that's all—other than firewood and water, you must bring all your own supplies. During peak holiday times, you can stay for only three nights, and it's essential to book in advance at Namibia Wildlife Resorts in Windhoek. Walking trails in the area vary from a few hours to eight-day hikes.
