The Tug

The Tug Review

It's all about location at the Tug, which, as its name suggests, is actually an old tugboat that has been raised up and moored next to the jetty. Swakops is known for its fresh seafood, which is quite good here; if you're not in the mood for something fishy, opt for the venison or ostrich stir-fry. Try to reserve a sea-view table so you can watch the ocean crashing just beneath you, but call two weeks in advance to avoid disappointment. The outside deck is also a coveted location for a summer sundowner.
