Golf Les Dunes. This American-style golf course is 10 km (6 miles) from central Agadir. The 27-hole course runs over hilly, thickly wooded countryside. There are free shuttles operating from various hotels in town. It is advisable to play in the afternoon, as mornings can be busy with guests from the hotel that owns the golf club. Golf de L'Océan. The newest of the golf courses along Agadir's coast, the Golf de L'Océan, designed by Belt Collins, is part of the Atlantic Palace Hotel resort and is open to both resort guests and nonresidents. Regular minibus shuttles run from the Atlantic Palace Hotel. Golf du Soleil. This American-style, championship course was designed in a classic style amid a eucalyptus forest and has several challenging obstacles. Guests of any of the three Tikida resorts in Agadir receive a discount and shuttle bus service to and from the hotels. Royal Golf Club. Established in 1952 by a Scotsman, the Royal Golf Club is Agadir's oldest. One of the smaller courses in Agadir, covering more than 30 acres with English-style Bermuda 419 and Cucuyo grass, it is 12 km (7 miles) from Agadir on the road to Aït Melloul. Km 12, Rte.
