A somewhat imposing block of a hotel close to the Royal Palace, this luxury lodging allows guests to escape the city's bustle in 17 gorgeous acres of parkland, with the rose gardens for which the hotel is named. Style-wise, this Sofitel outpost combines modernity with traditional Moroccan handicrafts. Intricately carved mashrabiya latticework can be found throughout the generous common areas as well as in the rooms, which are spacious and tastefully decorated. The pool has recently been renovated and there's a spa.
