Chez Le Pacha Review

Chez le Pacha is constantly evolving to suit the times. The Berber tents of yesteryear are being replaced with round African-style huts, complete with adobe walls and grass roofs. The main building has a selection of spacious, traditionally-styled rooms with all the creature comforts—suites even have four-poster beds. Brothers Youssef and Hoceine Dakhamat also plan to build individual bungalows in the form of mini-kasbahs (expected in 2012). The swimming pool, wittily called "Lac Irikki" after the nearby dried-up lake, is immaculate, and ice-cold poolside drinks are available at the bar. The hotel owns a baby camel, a donkey, and a peacock to amuse the children. Rates include dinner and breakfast.
