Auberge Baddou Review

This small hotel is a worthy choice for budget accommodation at the far northern end of the Todra Gorge. The restaurant serves creditable tagines, mechoui, and other specialties if you order far enough ahead. Owner Ahmed Abaz organizes hiking and four-wheel-drive excursions with interesting routes off the well-trodden path including to salt mines, caves, and waterfalls out towards Imilchil. The hotel is 30 km (19 mi) north from Tinerhir at the northern end of the gorge. Room price includes dinner. Cheaper rooms with shared bathroom.
