Riad Maktoub Review

Former photographer Abdellah Hassoun stumbled upon his maktoub, or "destiny," when he found himself searching for a spot to open a small restaurant back in 2000. Since then, he has added traditional Berber-style accommodations with comfortable beds, air-conditioning, and tiled bathrooms. Some of the larger suites have cozy fireplaces perfect for winter nights, and there are huge family rooms too. The kitchen serves what is possibly the best chicken-and-lemon tagine in the village, and guests are allowed to bring their own wine/beer.
