Perched on a promontory, the tiny Kasbah de Victor has stunning views of the Dadès Gorge and is popular with families who enjoy the garden and outdoor pool (though it is ice-cold most of the year). The owner, Eddy, and his Moroccan staff can organize trekking in the region or set you up with a donkey to take you visiting local nomadic families. Rooms are modest and simply styled with wrought-iron beds and colorful Berber textiles. The restaurant serves excellent tagines using all local produce, so take advantage of the half-board option when reserving.
