This stunning hotel is a converted 18th-century desert castle that overlooks the Palmery, the Kasbah Amerhidil, and the High Atlas Mountains. Amid lush gardens and handsome fortress walls, it offers cozy rooms with simple furnishings and en suite bathrooms; some are equipped with fireplaces. Although rooms don't have air-conditioning, the ancient pisé walls are naturally cool in summer and warm in winter. An on-site restaurant with a licensed bar serves Moroccan and international cuisine based on local and imported products (including fresh fish from Agadir during winter months); expect to pay 150 DH for a set menu. Advance booking is recommended.
