Internet

Marrakesh teems with Internet stops, many of which have fast DSL connections thanks to Morocco's advanced telecom infrastructure. They tend to cost a bit more than regular places. Most will do printing as well. For an Internet connection just south of the Djemâa el Fna, try Cyber Sihame Saida Ahouad. Although the cheapest rate is 5 DH (for up to 30 minutes), it's a great little location and has the added benefit of wireless, should you wish to bring in your own laptop. The small Tele Boutique Internet, next to a busy pavement café in Guéliz, doesn't look like much from outside or in, but it has good, fast connections for 8 DH an hour, and printing facilities. Although it's in a dingy basement, C@fé Askmy is one of the New Town's most popular haunts, mainly due to the café upstairs. One hour's access costs 8 DH, 2 hours 15 DH, and it's possible to buy up 20 hours of access for 90 DH.
