No longer in the Medina's Souk des Tapis, but rather in a shop in Guéliz, Bazaar Ben Rahal has a magnificent array of Berber tribal rugs and carpets. Owner Mohamed Taieb Sarmi can also show you more examples from his stockroom upstairs or from his house in Bab Doukkala, where he will painstakingly explain their origins and value. Sarmi sends rugs and carpets anywhere in the world; for packages to the United States, the import tax is paid in Morocco. English is spoken.
