A new venture by two young Moroccan entrepreneurs, one a photographer, the other an interior designer, The Melting Pot is more of a café (with free Wi-Fi) than a restaurant. But it's also become a trendy meeting place for artists, students, and creative types. Exhibitions of local painters line the walls, and there's a small library of books, too. The decor is 1970s retro, and the food (tagines, brochettes, panini, and pastas) is only average; however, there are some
interesting virgin cocktails on offer, such as a "Crazy Cow" (with coconut, peach, pineapple, and crème fraîche). It's open till late. No alcohol.
