This upmarket boutique hotel in the heart of Guéliz is chic and hypermodern in style, with trendy designer furniture, a space-age lounge bar, and minimalist bedrooms furnished in pale shades. All rooms have massive en suite marble bathrooms. There's also a lovely rooftop terrace and bar. Since its promising opening in 2008, the standards have slipped: there are minor maintenance issues such as faulty doors and windows, and service can be slack. That said, for a hotel
in the new town, with a funky rather than functional vibe, Bab Hotel is worth checking out.
