Except for La Moumounia, this is the city's oldest hotel. It opened in 1929 and still cuts it as a charming budget option. Although rooms are dull in comparison to the dancing foliage and bright tiles of the courtyard and terraces—perfect for a breakfast of Moroccan pancakes—most have en-suite baths and air-conditioning. The building is near Djemâa el Fna, behind the post office.
