Caravan Serai

Caravan Serai Review

The name means "resting place" originally for the merchants crossing the Sahara, and nowadays guests lounge happily in the garden, pool, and beautifully restrained bedrooms. This is the ultimate in rustic charm, perfect for lovebirds and uptight city slickers looking to unwind. Design is a feast of exposed brick, lightly hued walls, and simple wooden pillars. For real privacy ask for the Majorelle Suite; it's entirely blue and has its own swimming pool. Pros: Lovely design; laid-back service. Con: Garden can feel cramped.
