Hidden in the souk down twisting, turning derbs, this handsome, brooding affair doesn't make for a great daytime hangout, but it's a perfect home to come back to after a long day of souk exploration. Rooms are cheaper and more fun than suites; each room has two levels linked by its very own spiral staircase, and the calm bedrooms on the mezzanine level are devoid of anything but a bed, have gorgeous bathrooms and seating areas below. The candlelit, Berber-tented dining room comes alive at night and serves traditional cuisine.
