Riad Tamsna
Riad Tamsna Review
Hidden among the alleys of the medina's southern part, this handsome, neutral-tone riad offers a subtle African twist on Marrakesh dining. Delicious African, modern Moroccan, and international plates are served in a beautiful courtyard. The menu changes daily. Check out the first-floor boutique selling lovely—if pricey—items, and pretty rooftop terrace if you're here for lunch or a predinner aperitif.

A beautiful setting, but the food was awful. One of us had the African grilled chicken "specialty" and it was so dry it was inedible. We had first ordered several other things, but only after a half hour wait were we told that they were out of those items (a lamb tagine and an African lamb dish). This was on a Saturday night at 8:30.... We were the only diners. To top it all off, they ripped us off with the exchange rate, either that, or overcharged. The bill was 430 dirhams which should have been about $53 at the current exchange rate (8.1 DH per USD), but instead I just found out that I was charged almost $59 (giving a rate of 7.3). How cheap can you get???
