Due partly to the pizzazz of its late owner, Juan Carlo, La Trattoria has long held a place among Marrakesh's top restaurants. His chef Mohammed has taken over, and with neo-Moorish renovations overseen by Bill Willis, this ornate restaurant is flourishing. You can sit beside the pool and enjoy a good entrecôte (steak cut from between the ribs) or one of the many seafood pastas.
